Tony Bilbow, 90
Between 1964 and 1972, BBC’s “Late Night Line-Up” made for one of the most interesting talk shows on British television. Much of the program’s charm came from its host, the interviewer/film critic/writer Tony Bilbow. A bonafide show-biz pro, he was last seen in a 2015 episode of “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.”
As a host, Bilbow is also famous for his work in “Film Night” and “Super Troupers.” He occasionally acted before waving goodbye to the industry, appearing most notably as the narrator in the TV series “A Set of Six,” which aired in 1990, and in “Thirty-Minute Theatre.”
