Richard E. Grant has a pretty unique backstory. He was born in Mbabane, Protectorate of Swaziland, now known as Eswatini, and raised all around Southern Africa. He identifies as Liswati-English embracing his African culture, and has also written and directed a film based on his childhood.
He is also a respected actor renowned for films like Withnail and I in 1987. He also had a role in 1992 hit Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Iron Lady, and much later in films like 2017’s Logan and 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. He will appear in the MCU series Loki next.
