Hilton McRae, 71
Hilton McRae was a bit of a wild child in his younger time. He was a member of the 7:84 left-wing theater group that specialized in telling stories about the struggles of the working class. So it’s fitting that his most prominent Hollywood role was as a resistance pilot in Return Of The Jedi.
That role was uncredited, though, but he did make a name in the UK with big roles in The French Lieutenant’s Woman and Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. In 2009 he was lauded for his role in The Execution of Gary Glitter. He was last seen in the 2020 film The Third Day.
