Andrew Birkin, 76 Years Old

Inspired by his mother, actress Judy Campbell to join the TV and film industry, Andrew Birkin applied to be a mail boy for 20th Century Fox, where he would also later discover his passion for scriptwriting. With this newfound passion, Birkin would soon establish himself as one of the most critically acclaimed scriptwriters of his time, with nationwide recognition that saw him win a BAFTA Award and be nominated for an Academy Award.

Birkin, now in his seventies, continues to contribute to the TV industry by providing mentorship to up-and-coming actors, directors, and screenwriters. The father of five who lives in Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales is also a philanthropist and trustee of ‘Anno’s Africa,’ a children’s arts charity.
