There is no way that you can see a picture of Hugo Weaving and not hear the words “Mr. Anderson” in your head. That is one of his most iconic phrases spoken as Agent Smith in the Matrix Films. Of course, he isn’t only famous for that role.
He also played the master of Rivendell Elron Half-elven in the Lord of the Rings and reprised the role in The Hobbit films. But he goes back even further than that, with roles in the 1991 Australian film Proof and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. He is set to star in a 2021 film called Loveland.
