Jane Goodall, 89
Dame Jane Goodall, formally known as Baroness Jane van Lawick-Goodall, is a famous British anthropologist and primatologist. She is best known for her 60 years of experience as the world’s chimpanzee expert and her study of family and social interactions among the species’ territories.
Since the ’60s, Goodall has focused on wild chimpanzees and has traveled to various African countries to study more about their ecosystems. During her ventures, she realized that the primates exhibited several human-like behaviors. Already a recipient of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE) honor, this legend also received the Templeton Prize in 2021.
