Caroline Munro, 73
The Berkshire actress Caroline Munro is a horror-flick superstar. She became famous in the ’70s and ’80s, mainly for her work in horror and sci-fi productions. Some of her best-known roles include the gory 1980 movie “Maniac” and the disturbing thriller “Slaughter High.” But she excelled in other roles as well.
For one, she portrayed bombshell ‘Naomi’ in the 1977 James Bond flick “The Spy Who Loved Me,” which was arguably her more mainstream part. Still active, Munro has most recently appeared in the horror movies “House of the Gorgon” and “The Haunting of Margam Castle” and the 2021 podcast series “Vienna’s Planet.”
