Defying The Odds

By now, we have already kept in mind that half a million people gathered at Woodstock, and this photo is just a glimpse of how people were stretched out back then. However, this also proved that there were two types of festival-goers. One who came prepared with a solid plan and one who rode and let fate unfold their journey.

The good thing is it was held on a huge farm, which means people could either play a camping style on the ground or stay up all night watching the clouds. As recorded, most visitors spent their nights in improvised tents, bags, canopies, or blankets.
