Garth Brooks And Sandy Mahl – Divorced After 15 Years of Marriage
Country music artist Garth Brooks is the maker of hit songs “The Dance” and “Friends in Low Places.” He met his first wife, Sandy Mahl, as they spent time at Oklahoma State University. They bonded over music and wedded in 1986. She played an essential role in his success. Even so, despite their admirable story, they parted ways in 2001.
Mahl stated that the time they spent apart when Brooks would go on tours, parties, and award shows made them grow apart. This eventually led to separation. Mahl received $125 million as a divorce settlement. Now, they remained to be on good terms and got joint custody with their children.
