Owen Teale, 61
Owen Teale will always be remembered as Ser Alliser Thorne, the man who led a revolt and made everyone’s heart stop when he had Jon Show murdered in Game of Thrones. Everyone was glad when the character was hung, but that shouldn’t be held against an actor who played Will Scarlett in the 1991 Robin Hood.
He was a prolific actor in the late ’80s, making his film debut in 1989 with War Requiem. He also had roles in Knights of God, Great Expectations, and Boon in the same year and is currently filming a mini-series called The Rig. He will star in a film called Wisdom for Heroes, due in 2022.
