Susan Tully, 54

While she may prefer to work behind the camera now, Susan Tully became most known for her role as a  single mother in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders.” Her character Michelle Fowler is a teenager who gets pregnant by an older man and thus has an interesting trajectory. When the show was revived, Tully gave her blessing for the recast, choosing not to return herself.

Tully has directed episodes of shows like “Strike,” “Puppy Love,” and “Lark Rise to Candleford.” She has also directed 12 episodes of “EastEnders,” the show that is her claim to fame. Whether it was her work on-screen or her current work off-screen, she still looks incredible doing it.
