For Pierce Brosnan, who is the fifth James Bond in the famous American superspy franchise, what happens on the screen doesn’t stay on the screen. He famously acquired the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from the set of Die Another Day, his last appearance in the Bond series.
The 68-year-old Irish actor admitted he had to flex his screen power to get the Aston Martin brand to gift him the luxury car. It’s reportedly worth about $255,000 during production. Sadly, he lost it to a fire that engulfed his Malibu home in 2015, and all that’s left of the Vanquish are two plaques dedicating it to him.
